Tech for Campaigns

While national politics can feel really out of our control, TFC projects are a very tangible way to help get the right candidates elected and see real change happen. Since April 2020, I’ve helping to flip states blue by working with teams to create websites and digital ads for State Senate and State House candidates.

Christine Morse for Michigan Sate House | 2020

One of the first projects I worked on was Christine Morse for Michigan State House (MorseForce!). She ran to represent a district close enough to where my dad lives that while visiting him, I got to see some of her opponent's insane attack ads on tv firsthand. So, it was pretty important to me that Christine got elected. And she did. Christine was the first dem to win her district since 1993.

And she wasn't alone. Because of TFC candidates like Christine, dems took control of the Michigan House AND the Senate, and re-elected Big Gretch as governor. Michigan was true blue for the first time since the 80s. That's pretty powerful. That's a lot of change that can happen for communities all around my home state.

Christine was re-elected in 2022, and in 2024 became a circuit court judge. And I'm still following her work, because I know she's making lives better, and I got to play a small part in that.
